The Mayor and Mayoress of Solihull would like to thank you for your invitation for your Building Bridges event on the 3rd December 2009. Unfortunately they are unable to attend on this occasion due to a prior engagement. They have asked me to wish you all the very best for the evening.
Victoria Green
Mayor's Secretary
Regret that I am unable to attend as I will be in Germany on a visit with the Mayor of Solihull to meet young people in our twin town. Hope the event goes well.
Yours sincerely
Ken Meeson
Leader of Council

Thank you for the invite, however the run up during December for various council meetings is very busy and I am afraid the 3rd of December is already booked. May I wish you a good evening and well attended.

Cllr Peter Hogarth

Cllr Ian Hedley
Thank you so much for the invitation to your event on Thursday 3rd which I would love to be able to attend but unfortunately I am already committed to something else on that evening. I have to say, I think this is a fantastic idea and I’m sure will do a great deal to promote your very admirable objectives. May I wish you every success with the evening.
Kind regards

Operations & Enterprise Manager
Solihull SUSTAiN & Colebridge Trust
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about the exciting projects that you are delivering in Solihull. I really wished I was available to accept your invitation this week but I am committed with various meetings for our organisation.
How ever I would take this opportunity to say that I have spent many years working with the Interfaith Group where I come from in Wolverhampton and I believe these initiatives are just what our community needs.
I really want you to inform your members about our organisation too. Since we are 125 year old Christian organisation, many of the public think our activities are solely for Christian children-that is just not true!
We have several groups in Solihull and perhaps you would like to read the attached and meet our director, Mr Roger Green. There is a great opportunity here for Christian and Muslim boys and young men to grow up together and have fun activities whilst understanding and respecting each other’s faith. Perhaps you could see a way to bring more of your young people into a relationship with our organisation.

With much respect and best wishes,
Dr Ann Reaney
